Phoenix

This handsome man (formerly #540 from the 11/30/11 Camelot auction) is now a gelding. His new owner is anxiously waiting for him to be out of quarantine so they can start their new life together in PA.

Festus

B. Gorzycki got this feed lot donkey from none other than Edgewood Longears Safehouse in NM! We know that he’s going to make her a super friend now that he is a gelding.

Noah

Squirrelwood Equine Sanctuary in NY requested help in turning this handsome man into a handsome gelding!

Diego and Stormy

Stormy

Diego

Stormy and Diego needed new homes, but no one wanted them because they were studs. We hope now they have been gelded, they find their new homes quickly. They are located in SC if you are interested. Both have ground manners, but are green.

Silver Gem

Horse Rescue United in NJ requested help in Gelding one of their horses. We were happy to oblige!

Amul, Woody & Copper

Copper

Copper

Heidi B. had a problem. Her horse Woody was out on free lease for the past few years. She went to check on him this summer and found him in very bad shape.

Amul was in the same pasture as Woody, and very emaciated. She took BOTH horses home as the owner had basically abandoned them and she couldn’t just leave him there. Heidi has a large farm, and lots of pasture and “thought” at the time that these two would gain weight once out on field.

They were, however, beyond needing just grass, and their teeth are horrendous. They both drop and dribble grain and quid hay and grass.

OHAAT has awarded Heidi with a grant to get the teeth floated on all 3. Funds are pending for feed/hay as a resource is being looked into. We look forward to seeing these gents back in their former glory!

Rowdy

Central Va Horse Rescue has been awarded a grant to help pay for the gelding
of Rowdy, a horse that was surrendered by his owner.
